Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly pleaded for everyone to stay at home for cancer sufferer Mila, four.
Little Mila Sneddon has a vulnerable immune system and undergoes cancer treatment which puts her at high risk of the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the globe.
Saturday Night Takeaway’s Ant and Dec gave the little girl their backing after she made a powerful statement asking everyone to stay home for her and other people like her living in the UK.
The double act screamed “everybody stay at home” at the camera when they filmed a piece to camera separately in their different homes.
Ant kicked off their spiel about people staying at home as he pointed out both him and Dec were isolating from each other.
He said: “Hi everybody Ant and Dec here, not together because we’re at home like everybody should be.”
Dec responded: “Absolutely, and as we heard Mila wants us to tell everybody to stay at home so we can protect her and thousands and thousands people like her.”
Ant agreed: “So we will.”
Dec shared his hopes of their video successfully spreading the message to the nation.
He added: “There hope that helps Mila.”
They pulled out all the stops on their video after Mila requested Ant and Dec to do their part for coronavirus and ask for everyone to stay home.
In an interview with ITV News, she expressed her wishes were for “Ant & Dec to say that all of the people have to stay indoors”.
Mila has been undergoing intensive chemotherapy after being diagnosed with leukaemia in November last year.
Her parents were taking no risks with the virus and they have been self-isolating in different houses.
Mila has been staying with her mum while the UK goes into lockdown.
