Emmerdale aired the return of Pierce Harris on Thursday, as he was confirmed as Graham Foster’s killer in a twist.
Graham was brutally killed off with viewers led to believe it was one of seven suspects, including Kim Tate and Marlon Dingle.
But it was soon revealed non-suspect Pierce was the true killer, hitting Graham over the head in the woods.
His return had not been announced until this moment, while it had been hinted at in scenes last month.
Rhona Goskirk received the news that her ex-husband and rapist was up for parole and could be released.
This was the last viewers heard of it though, and now actor Jonathan Wrather who plays Pierce has revealed all.
Breaking his silence on the return and the murder, he teased what was to come.

Not only that, the actor confessed not even the cast knew the twist, with soap bosses keeping it a secret from them and fans.
He said: “Pierce is back in Emmerdale to ruffle even more feathers, which is an understatement.
“Not even the cast know, I have a code name in the script!”
Jonathan added: “I don’t know everything that is happening yet and I kinda don’t want to know.
“He’s back but for how much longer? You’ll just have to wait and see.”
Viewers will see the full events of Graham’s demise on Friday.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
