The Grammy Awards 2020 is the biggest night of the music calendar and the red carpet never dissapoints.
Ahead of the 62nd annual bash, the biggest and brightest stars in the industry have been arriving in force at Los Angeles’ Staples Center in all their fashionable glory.
Leading the pack is Lizzo, who is the most nominated star of tonight’s ceremony with a total of eight nods to her name.
The Juice singer sashayed down the red carpet in an angelic white floorlength gown that was set off with a luxurious white fur stole and diamond jewelerry.
The singer, 31, made the most of her incredible curves in the gown which featured a built in corset and a daring thigh high split.
Lizzo is nominated in several major categories including New Artist, Best Album and Best Song for Truth Hurts.
Her rival for tonight, Ariana Grande also rocked up in a show stopping gown.
The Thank U Next singer arrived wearing a multi layered grey tulle gown that boasted an skirt so large it threatened to swamp the pint size pop star.
But Ariana looked ready to suffer for her art as she pulled a number of fierce poses.
She finished her look with her signature high pony tail and gloves to match her dress.
At one point Ariana even playfully sat down on the red carpet and pretended to look bored with proceedings.
Her over the top glamour came in stark contrast to Billie Eilish who opted for an all out wacky look at her first Grammy Awards.
The teenager went in hard with the back and green theme, sporting a silk suit, manicured nails, trainers and a polo neck in the Halloween-esque shades.
She even had luminous green hair dye to complete the ensemble.
Gwen Stefani played it simple but chic in a cream mini dress that was studded with hundreds of pearls.
Arriving alongside boyfriend Blake shelton, Gwen gave a nod to her rocker past by accessorising with some racy thigh high boots.
Former child star JoJo was also in attendance at the bash dressed in a revealing grey number.
The Too Little Too Late hitmaker made the most of her incredible figure in the strapless gown that featured a flattering cinched in waist.
Actress Jameela Jamil also cut an elegant figure as she arrived in support of her musician boyfriend James Blake.
The Good Life actress’ quirky dress gave a flash of her leg thanks to a transparent panel on her flowing skirt.
While James also showed off his style credentials with his oversized patterned suit.
Some celebs opted to make a statement with their entrances.
America singer Joy Villa arrived in a red ensemble that showed her support for President Donald Trump.
Wearing her feelings on her dress, Joy’s outfit spelt out the word ‘TRUMP 2020’ in huge capital letters.
Fellow American singer Ricky Rebel also made a very cheeky statement with his Grammys outfit.
The activist arrived wearing leather chaps and a thong with the words ‘Impeach this’ written in ink on his buttocks.
British star Lewis Capaldi, who is nominated for Song of the Year with Someone You Loved, made a typically low key entrance.
The Scottish star wore a simple black jacket and jeans with a white top and trainers.
Despite his casual attire, Lewis looked more than happy to be at the star-studded bash and gave a thumbs up to cameras ahead of the ceremony
Ozzy Osbourne walked the red caper with a cane, just days after speaking out about his Parkinson’s diagnosis.
The Black Sabbath star told fans he was suffering terrible nerve pain that started when he fell over at home last year and underwent surgery.
His daughter Kelly turned out to support her dad at the event.
This year the awards had quite a shake-up with familiar chart-toppers being sidelined by some exciting new acts on the scene.
First-time nominees Lizzo, Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X are nominated across the four major categories (song of the year, album, record, and best new artist) while some big name artists are abscent.
The likes of Taylor Swift and BTS have been snubbed from major categories despite their huge commercial success this year.
Leading the British stars up for big awards this year is Lewis Capaldi, who is nominated for Song Of The Year for heartbreak ballad Someone You Loved.
It looks set to be a jam packed evening with no fewer than 84 categories to get through.
