Susanna Reid and Steve Parish have rekindled the flames of their romance.
It’s just been a little more than a year since their hearts shattered into tiny pieces following their split in April 2019.
Their romance spanned nine months before their heartbreaking split.
Exes Susanna, 49, and Steve, 54, tried to remain on friendly ground and even went to a Crystal Palace game together shortly after their break up.
Love has conquered all as the former flames have decided to give their love a second go.
Their love story didn’t pan out the first time because they reportedly didn’t have enough time for romance.
Always on the go, Susanna juggled her high-flying presenting job on Good Morning Britain with raising her three sons.
Steve had focused his mind on work as the millionaire Crystal Palace chairman.
At the time of their break up, a source told The Daily Mail : “It’s very sad, but they just couldn’t make it work.
“They both work extremely hard and there wasn’t enough time for romance.
“They met through their mutual support for Palace and will stay good friends. They watched the match together on Saturday even though the romance was over.”
Susanna broke the news of their split on Good Morning Britain when her co-presenter Piers Morgan brought it up.
Last year, Piers said: “Are you single again? You are, aren’t you?”
Susanna responded: “Yep. Let’s not dwell. I’m fine, we’re fine, we’re very good friends. We were at the match on Saturday.”
A year on, the exes have decided to give their romance another try.
With lockdown easing, they have been enjoying cosy nights in together.
A source told The Sun : “They’ve obviously decided to give things another go and have been together quite frequently recently.
“Steve has been over a few times. It’s quite conspicuous when he goes there because he has a very flash car.
“But otherwise they’ve always got on well. Hopefully things work out well for them. They’re both lovely.”
Susanna has brought up her children Sam, 18, Finn, 16, Jack, 15 with her ex of 16 years Dominic Cotton.
The TV star and sports correspondent went their separate ways in 2014.
