Jess Shears and Dom Lever have finally confirmed they are parents to a baby boy months after his birth.
The Love Island couple welcomed their firstborn earlier this year but decided to keep the little one’s gender and name secret.
They now confirmed they are parents to a son, but have insisted they are keeping his name to themselves for the time being.
During an appearance on JD Sports’ In The Duffle Bag podcast, Jess, 26, explained: “It wasn’t so much of a secret, people made more out of it.”
Dom, 28, went on: “I think it was because they were expecting some kind of grand announcement when he was born, what his name was and stuff and I think we just weren’t really fussed.”
When asked about the tot’s name, Jess insisted they are not going to be revealing it any time soon.
She added: “I think we just enjoyed keeping it to ourselves and it’s been quite nice being…
“Like everyone talks about the ‘newborn bubble’ – and it is you just kind of it’s just you and them and you’re just getting on with your life.
The couple met on Love Island in 2017 and married last year.
Dom and Jess announced they pregnancy earlier this year and confirmed they had welcomed their little boy in October, although the exact date of the birth is not known.
They have been keeping their little man mostly out of the spotlight, sharing few pictures of him and keeping his face out of shot.
