Kate Ferdinand has wasted no time in burning off her Christmas dinner – hitting the beach for a gruelling workout just hours after Christmas Day.
Stripping to a brown bikini on December 27 – and while many of us were still munching through Christmas dinner left overs – Kate demonstrated her favourite beach workout.
With a slightly overcast sky behind her, and rolling waves lapping on the beach, the reality star squatted and lunged for the benefit of her fans and followers.
“You don’t always need a gym to exercise,” she declared as she took to Instagram to share the video of herself working up a sweat.
“Really simple workout on the beach,” she continued – with the video showing her keeping things stylish on the sand with a pair of shades, one apple ear pod in, and her hair tired up in a high knot.
Kate promised the simple movements would help anyone burn off some excess calories, and recommended 20 minutes of working out to her fans.
“This is really simple and looks easy but it’s a burner!” she declared.
And she then went on to plug her own workout volume: “There is lots more simple body weight exercises in my book.”
In the book, titled Fitter, Happier, Healthier: The Ultimate 4 Week Body Transformation Plan, Kate explains how she maintains her killer body.
She avoids sandwiches, eating only one a year, hides sweet treats and makes sure she throws her step-children’s leftovers in the bin to avoid snacking.
Kate writes: “One thing I rarely eat is sandwiches… I never feel like there’s any goodness in them. The only ones I do have sometimes are the Christmas sandwiches with turkey, stuffing and cranberry.”
She added: “I may have one, once a year as a festive treat, but that’s my lot.”
