Katie Price looks set to transform her mucky mansion with an epic new home makeover series.
The source said: “Katie’s really excited about the new project – she’s telling everyone that the cameras will follow the work on the house, ending with a big reveal,” says the friend.
“She’s sick of the dust, the rubble, the mess and the exposed wires – but she can’t afford to pay anyone to fix it.
They add that “a TV show is perfect because she’s hoping the TV channel will cover the costs of the builder, plus she’ll get furniture and furnishings for free through the show with product placement and brand sponsorship.
“She’s told the kids they’ll all be moving back into their home with new bedrooms and no scaffolding in the New Year.
Her closed ones insist that Katie is excited for the makeover too as she can finally show her house off.
They revealed: “She’s sick of people saying her house is mucky and messy.”
However, Quest Red – the channel behind Katie’s reality series My Crazy Life – may have put the dampeners on the planned series.
Quest Red has told The Sun: “There are no plans to film a home renovation show with Katie Price on Quest Red.”
Price is believed to be currently staying with friends and in the mansion house’s annexe.
Mirror Online has contacted a representative for Katie Price for comment.
