Kim Kardashian can make more from Instagram than from ‘whole season of KUWTK’

Kim Kardashian has given fans a sneak peak into her financial situation as she revealed she can rake in more cash from Instagram posts than from a whole season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Kim, 39, left fans devastated recently with the announcement that 2021, and the show’s 20th season, would mark its end.

But her and her family need not fret, as they can still bring home the bacon with Instagram posts.

Kim, who recently joined the billionaires’ club alongside the likes of sister Kylie Jenner and husband Kanye West, sat down with David Letterman for My Next Guest Needs No Introduction on Netflix.

And amid speculation about what Kim’s future holds, she lifted the lid on why they’re not worried KUWTK is drawing to a close.

“We would not be who we are today without Keeping Up With The Kardashians and that’s why we continue to share our lives,” she remarked.

“Even if, realistically, we can post something on social media and make more than we do a whole season.”

Kim’s family all boast enormous social media following, Kim alone demanding the attention of 190 million Instagram users.

And the reality star managed to flog one fifth of her KKW make-up brand for a cool £200 million, sending her net worth stratospheric and landing her a spot on America’s list of billionaires.

The deal with cosmetics giant Coty valued KKW at $1 billion, just under the $1.2 billion valuation it placed on Kylie’s company last year.

Sources close to the deal told The Financial Times that Coty, which also boasts a number of other makeup giants like CoverGirl and Max Factor in its portfolio, had agreed to it.

And it’s said Coty wants to employ Kim’s huge Instagram following in its business strategy, developing a direct-to-consumer online sales model, paired with heavy advertising on the site.

Kim’s brand flogs lipsticks, eyeshadows, foundations and powders mostly through its website, while it’s thought the brand may soon branch out into skincare products as well.

Fans were gutted to learn the show is ending
Kim announced the end of KUWTK

Taking to her account in September, Kim announced: “To our amazing fans –

“It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

“After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children.

“We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”
