Lily Allen recreates her trainers and ballgown look as she keeps SAG afterparty going

Lily Allen has recreated her famous look where she teams a ballroom gown with trainers at her Screen Actors Guild afterparty.

When Lily, 34, first burst on to the music scene in the early 2000s, she was famous for her bizarre combination of posh frocks and trainers.

And she clearly still has a penchant for the quirky style, posing on her Instagram in a black gown with long mesh sleeves, with mint green sneakers on her feet.

Lily explained that she was headed to an afterparty following the swanky A-list awards ceremony, and later posted a photo with pals including her brother Alfie Allen, who starred in Game Of Thrones.

Earlier that night, Lily posed on the red carpet with her Stranger Things actor boyfriend David Harbour, 44, at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The couple beamed for photos, Lily sporting a stunning long red dress with a plunging neckline, and David looking dapper as ever in a black tux with a bow tie.

David was nominated along with the rest of the cast of the hit Netflix series for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast in a Drama Series.

Prior to the show starting, David took to his social media accounts to gush about his girlfriend.

In a post on his Instagram account, David wrote in a caption of an image of Lily: “Who’s the stunning one in red? That’s right, it’s the brilliant, beautiful, brash, bold, brave and just f***in’ hot @lilyallen.”

Lily herself has hit the headlines in recent days following her posts hitting out at comments by British actor Laurence Fox , who denied there was any racism in Britain during a right-wing tirade on Question Time.

On Instagram, Lily wrote in a post to her 1.2 million followers: “Sick to death of luvvies like a Lawrence [sic] Fox going on TV and forcing their opinions on everybody else, when he’ll never have to deal with what normal people have to deal with in his gated community.

“BBC should be ashamed, this is not what we pay our TV liscence [sic] for.”
