Tonight’s Love Island episode will delve deeper into Connagh’s decision for coupling up with Sophie – who was already coupled up with Connor.
The villa’s calming scenery will be rocked by an explosive row between the love triangle.
And Sophie will make her stance on the matter very clear, as she defends Connagh’s decision during the tiff.
After Connagh chose to couple up with Sophie in the recoupling, Connor says in the Beach Hut: “He should have gone about things a different way.
“He should have coupled up with Siânnise, got to know her, he could have still gotten to know Sophie if he wanted to.”
He added: “It’s hard not to be awkward now. It’s going to be a bit hard, but he’s brought that on himself.”
But later in the episode when Mike gives Connagh his opinion on the situation – suggesting he could have done things differently – Sophie wastes no time stepping in.
She says: “You can’t even say that to him… he’s gone with his gut at the end of the day.
“I feel like you boys shouldn’t be beating him up about it.”
But a challenge puts a strain on the villa’s couples, as the islanders get an insight into how well they really know each other.
The contestants will be tested on their knowledge of one another, and if their answers match, they get a point.
From family members to star signs to favourite cocktails, the islanders will have to remember as much information about each other as they can.
- Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
