Love Island star Connor Durman bears uncanny resemblance to comedian Russell Kane

Comedian Russell Kane can’t get over how much he looks like one of the new Love Island lot.

Connor Durman, who’ll be entering the new Cape Town villa on Sunday, was recently announced as a confirmed castmember, with funnyman Russell heading to Instagram to laugh about their resemblance to each other.

Pretending to be Connor – who has a peculiar job title as a coffee bean salesman and part time naked butler – Russell laughed that Love Island’s narrator Iain Stirling told him he couldn’t take part.

Sharing a candid snap of 25 year old Connor, Russell wrote: “I have decided not to take part in Love Island, as during this photo @iaindoesjokes said my d*** and pubes looked like a ‘wee acorn on top of a Christmas pudding.’

“Please respect my privacy at this time.”

It’s not the first comparison to be drawn, as some fans reckon he’s the spitting image of the last series’ champ and rugby hunk Greg O’Shea.

With the cast now out in the open, fans are eagerly awaiting Sunday night’s opener.

Not only is it the first ever winter edition of the show, but marks the first time former host Caroline Flack will be absent.

After she stepped down from the role following a charge of assault, Laura Whitmore stepped in to fill her shoes.

Incidentally, she’s also the girlfriend of narrator Iain, with the Scottish comic gushing that the two will be able to spend a whole lot more time together now they’re working on the same show.

When asked on Loose Women if their busy schedules would allow them to get in some quality time, he replied: “More, because she’ll be coming back and forth to South Africa every now and again.

“I’m there the whole time. They take me to a hot country and put me in a box!”
