Winter Love Island contestant Paige Turley was reportedly dating an X Factor star until just months before applying for Love Island.
Paige was dating singer Garry Greig on and off for several years until they split for good in April 2019.
Garry is also friends with Paige’s other famous ex Lewis Capaldi, who reportedly wrote his heartbroken tunes about the blonde stunner.
Paige is set to appear on Love Island when it begins on Sunday, but she first appeared on our screens in 2012, when she starred on Britain’s Got Talent.
Aged 14, Paige reached the semi-finals of the show before being eliminated.
According to MailOnline , Paige met Garry the same year and they gigged around Scotland together.
A source said: “Paige and Garry would go everywhere together. They’d known one another for years and enjoyed one another’s company.
“They were never really formal about their relationship but friends knew they were seeing one another.”
The pair drifted apart as Paige went travelling while Garry toured in Doha, Quatar.
Garry first auditioned for the X Factor in 2010, and then returned in 2016.
His Facebook features photos of him with Lewis, whose heart-wrenching tracks as Someone You Loved are thought to be about his breakup with Paige.
After being outed as the secret subject of ballad Someone You Loved, Paige is now ready to be a star in her own right.
Speaking previously about the inspiration for the record, Lewis said: “I met a lady. She was very nice. I loved her. I loved the look of her and I loved how she spoke.
“We dated for a year and a half, then she left me. Then I wrote an album about it and I still think about it every day.”
Ahead of her stint in the villa, Paige revealed that she and Lewis are “still pals”.
“Lewis Capaldi is my ex-boyfriend. We went out when we were younger, I was about 17 or 18,” she explained.
“We were together for about a year. It ended really amicably and we’re still pals.”
The 22-year-old will bin off men with cheesy chat up lines and arrogance, but is open to men who are “tall, dark and handsome”.
