The creator of Peaky Blinders has confirmed that writing on the sixth season has finished.
Knight recently appeared on the New Year’s Honours List when he was awarded a CBE for services to drama, entertainment and the community in Birmingham.
Director Anthony Byrne will also return to helm the new episodes, having directed season 5, making him the first director to tackle multiple seasons.
Elsewhere on the gangster drama, however, we can expect the evil Sir Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) to continue to play a dastardly role in the show after Tommy failed to kill him off last time around, while Michael Gray (Finn Cole) is set to become more embroiled in the powerful American family of his ambitious wife Gina (Anya Taylor-Joy).
Will Tommy manage to climb back to the top with threats emerging from all sides?
Meanwhile, fans of the Cillian already have had a treat earlier this week as Murphy appears in the trailer for horror sequel A Quiet Place: Part II alongside Emily Blunt , where his facial hair left fans quite shaken.
Peaky Blinder series 1 to 5 are currently available on BBC iPlayer.
