Zac Efron has been spotted looking happy and healthy as he’s pictured for first time since his hospital dash.
Mirror Online can reveal Efron, 32, was well enough to attend an event at the Vejo pop-up store in Los Angeles on Saturday 21 December, turning up for a friends and family shopping evening.
The Hollywood actor was airflifted to a medical centre in Australia before Christmas after falling sick while making a survival TV show in Papua New Guinea.
He was said to have been struck down with a form of typhoid or similar bacterial infection.
However, Zac made a recovery and jetted back to Los Angeles the week before Christmas.
Vejo makes specialist blenders and is backed by Zac’s longtime pal, former Olympic swimmer Conor Dwyer.
The actor was seen clutching a goodie bag full of loot as he posed for pictures with Conor and another Vejo boss at the shop in LA.
Sporting a thick beard, a hat and sunglasses, Efron was seen smiling for the camera as he posed with a large group of Vejo staff outside.
One of the company bosses later thanked Efron for attending the event, writing in a post on Instagram : “Thank you Z for showing up at our friends and family shopping.
“Conor you are the man for the magic!”
He’s said to have fallen ill while shooting scenes for his latest TV series Killing Zac Efron.
The daredevil programme will show the star venturing deep into the jungle of a remote, dangerous island, falling off the grid for 21 days.
He’s said to have attempted to survive with nothing but basic gear and a guide partner for the challenge.
Speaking ahead of filming, Zac said: “I tend to thrive under extreme circumstances and seek out opportunities that challenge me on every level.
“I am excited to explore any uncharted territory and discover what unexpected adventure awaits!”
